I was just thinking about a comment someone posted about a week ago saying that I-16 Statesboro is so barren. I Got to thinking about that, Dublin has hotels and restaurants at I-16 Dublin and Dublin itself is not as Developed as Statesboro itself. When people who never been to Statesboro before pass through I-16 Statesboro may think that Statesboro is just another really small town just like most towns along I-16. My opinion is Statesboro would see its biggest boom yet if it decides to put up some Hotels, Restaurants, Retail along 16. Your thoughts??

Statesboro seems to like things the way they are. Not everyone likes to live in an area with lots of hotels, restaurants, etc. Maybe it really doesn't need a "boom" to be enjoyable

Isn't Statesboro actually located several miles away from I-16? If there was a strong financial incentive to have a mess of chain restaurants out there, it would have happened a long time ago. That kind of thing usually happens regardless of what citizens want, for good or bad.

The Dublin exit seems to serve very well as the 'way station' for I-16; I don't that another concentration of hotels and restaurants is needed at the Statesboro exit. Besides, you're so close to I-95 at that point why wouldn't you just keep going?

The main Statesboro exit should at least have a decent gas station instead of a filthy, sleazy, creepy truck stop where old men cruise for sex and the parking lot isn't even paved!

The city of Statesboro may have codes and ordinances, but Bulloch County is sorely lacking. That place is shameful.
