City Council had them all pulled up and burned. Victory Drive is now lined with silk ficus trees.

I'm curious......why does it matter if Savannah has palm trees? They aren't good for anything except providing homes for cockroaches (hence the name, palmetto bugs)

The two and a half square miles of Savannah that is known as the Historic District, is touristy and expensive to live in. The rest of the area, isn't.

Palm trees are aesthetically pleasing to the eye.. especially to those who don't see them often.

Guess you have not been out and about lately looking for homes.

Tybee, there really isn't any inventory under $200 per square foot.

Southbridge, nothing under 300k.

The city of Savannah itself outside of the Ghetto is over $100 per square foot now in almost all neighborhoods, but if you look at Ardsley and a few other areas then it's $130 to 150.

The Landings homes up to $10 million.

Wilmington Isle once again over $130 a square foot.

Is this in response to somebody's question or are you just talking to yourself?
