Anyone know if Edens has a proposed tenant for the Coldwater Creek space?
Yes, LOFT is apparently keeping two locations for the time being. Palm Avenue relocated from Abercorn Walk to Broughton. Williams-Sanoma is one of the tenants rumored for Broughton. Don't know know if they'd be a me to keep a store at Abercorn Walk. I drove thru there last weekend, and there's nothing happening yet with the Coldwater Creek space (which is pretty big BTW).

This article isn't exclusively for Broughton Street, but I didn't want to create a new thread. It does have to do with tourism and Broughton is a major area.

Is it just me, or does this article seem incomplete?

I heard a rumor from a very reliable source last night that Steak and Shake plans to open a 24 hour retro 50s diner in the Mason Furniture building opposite McDonald's at the corner of Jefferson and Broughton.

I think it's fine. People will like it, since the food is simple, good and inexpensive. We like the one in Pooler a lot.

Hold on ... it was only a rumor, though from a usually reliable source, and one I've yet to verify. But I like the idea. I think it would be a good fit.

Let's just not go too retro; if I visit, I want to be able to walk through the front door, sit at the counter, and be served.
