On a day like today, I am really missing Arizona warmer winters. Stay warm everyone.

I'm enjoying the cool misty winter weather with a warm fire in the fireplace and nothing better to do but snuggle up on the sofa. Winter in the SE can be lovely.

Believe it or not, after the rain cleared earlier today, wind was blowing, sun was peeking out, it felt like the first days of Spring (well like the first days of Spring in the NE in the month of April).

I agree pink caddy. Really beautiful day yesterday and today. Enjoying the sun and relatively warmer temps. I will take the sun over the rain any day.

Mid to upper 30's for daytime highs around the Coastal Empire. Pretty impressive cold for those parts, indeed! Upper teens to around 20 for the low. Yikes.

Cover up your palms and/or tropical weather plants... the ones that can't be brought inside.

Mid 20's for the high where I'm at. Single digit lows again. It's like I'm in Minneapolis.

Surprised nobody has commented in here today. A lovely 37 degrees at KSAV right now.

I'm in Atlanta today and I feel like I'm back in Minnesota. It was 19 degrees a few hours ago... now, at the warmest part of the day, the current temp sits at 25. Not getting anywhere near freezing today.

How is everybody holding up down there?

BTW, for kicks and giggles, I checked out Miami and Key West. Not a good beach day there either. 61 at KEYW (with an expected record low tonight of 49) and 61 at KMIA (expected record low there of 38 tonight).

The sun is shining so it really doesn't feel that cold.

I noticed most of the tour trollies are crowded, so the cold hasn't affected that.

I'm certain River Street is miserable, however. It doesn't take much cold (or wind) to do that.

Yeah, the sun does make a big difference, especially in late February when the sun angle is higher. After tomorrow, the warm up should be quick. 60s on Saturday and 70s on Sunday.

I've got the sego palms covered tonight with lights and a blanket. It worked in the 15 F freeze I had in January 2014, so it'll work again tonight for sure
