Default New/ Where to look for Jobs...

I just got my BBA in Marketing and will be moving to Savannah at the end of the month. I need to start looking for jobs, what is the best way to find them? Monster, HotJobs, the Paper, etc.? Also does any of the local colleges hire often? If so where do you find information on job openings? I know SCAD is likely to have some type of marketing/advertising/or PR departments. Real estate also interest me, but i can't afford to wait around to get a realator license and then get clients built up. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Check out the local want ads in the Savannah Morning News. Also check with the employment offices in the larger industries and hospitals and put in an application. You may not find what you want, but you will probablly find something to bring in a weekly paycheck. Also, If you don't want to tie yourself down at first, check with the local temporary agencies. Jobs don't just fall off the trees, you are going to have to look.

Prepare yourself a good resume. List education, work history, skills etc. and have several copies so that you can leave at every location that you call on.

Good Luck!
