My boyfriend and I are thinking of spending NYE in Savannah and am wondering are there events that cater to a mixed or African American crowd. I've never been there so I admit I know VERY LITTLE about the city. I've seen quite a bit about River Street and boat parties but am wondering are there any other parties I may be interested in attending? I ask this mostly because of my music preferences (I prefer hip hop and R&B) and it looks like the band at River street will be mostly rock music. Are there any hip hop clubs or young black professional associations hosting anything? Radio station? Just trying to get a feel for what's out there.
