O.k., so I'm 25, (I'll be 26 in 9 days) single, childless in Detroit. I love the 'D', but I find myself craving a change. I've always wanted to try Savannah, it's breathtaking, & of course the historical aspect. But a question. How are the local Colleges? The crime I can deal with: I do come from Detroit after all, and I guess if I apply the knowledge of being a native Detroiter I should be fine. How are the roads, and the state tax percentages? And being that I'm from a predominately blue collar area, I hear that SV is such a place, what's the going rates on general job wages? I don't have a degree just yet, so I'll probably have to apply for regular ol 9 -5, so I'm curious. And could you guys tell me about the weather? That's one of the major points for me, I can't STAND winter anymore!!
