I am a single retired african american female thinking of moving south. I drive and not looking for much night life except a nice meal or movir once in awhile. I'm really looking for a new layed back life style. Which is which has less crime. Savannah or richmond hills

Richmond Hill obviously ... being a suburban community with only 12,000 or so residents. Savannah-Chatham County is home to nearly 300,000 people. We had a bad run of violent crime last year, but most all of it involved drugs and gangs and was concentrated in just 3 or 4 depressed areas of the inner city. There are many very nice, very safe neighborhoods that never see any crime, especially on the Eastside islands and the coast. There's no movie theater in Richmond Hill and the dining and shopping options are fairly limited, so you'll be coming into Savannah for that stuff anyway.
