There are a number of safe neighborhoods right in the area where you will be working. I can't think of the names of any so early in the morning, but perhaps someone else who lives out there will chime in.

Magnolia Park, Isle of Hope, Bacon Park and other very nice neighborhoods are near where you will be working. Kensington Park is another good subdivision with little through traffic. Of course, Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island are great too. I would skip Ardsley Park. Some people are crazy about it, but there are parts of it that are not what they used to be.

Check out Gordonston. I rented a cottage there and LOVED it! I had best ladlords, it wasn't expensive (included all utilities and cable), and I had the white pickett fence. Perfect yard for my dog.

Default Safe area of Savannah to Rent a House

Magnolia Park is a good area very near where you will be working. We have a very comfortable house available for rental on Colonial Drive. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a family room, living room, utility room, 1-car garage, and of course a kitchen. If you are interested in hearing more, please respond directly to sdavinar1@bellsouth.net. I look forward to hearing from you.
