Hi,

I'm considering to stop by Savannah for several weeks and wonder if there's any motel in the city or its vicinity that fits the subject description, also, it would be desirable that it offers a weekly rate (better deal).

Thanks in advance.

Being in Savannah for several weeks, are you looking for an extended stay hotel?

Hotel tends to be expensive than motel, I don't need anything fancy but clean with basic amenities like shower, microwave and safe would do. Close to grocery, so that I don't need to go places to get some frozen food.
Thanks.

I'd check with Best Western Central Inn at Abercorn and Eisenhower. Don't know about their weekly rates, but they do have a rather surprisingly bountiful breakfast daily (included in rate). It isn't fancy, but it is close to everywhere in Savannah. Close to a really nice Publix and restaurants.

Thank you all for your input. Which of them is within walking distance of a library?

It's in my exclusion list because intownsuits is a despicable corporation. Never want to chip in a dime to them again.

Well depends on the type of library you need.

There's a big brand new library on Abercorn by the Savannah Mall. There's an older smaller/medium sized library on Abercorn in the Oglethorpe Mall parking lot.

The former has some hotels/motels but they're a little bit farther of a walk down. The latter is a walk but isn't too bad.

When we come into Savannah, we stay at the Quality Inn on Abercorn behind the diner. Just a few lights up from a shopping center w/ Publix, Starbucks and some other restaurants and businesses. Rooms come w/ fridge and microwave. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but this is what we do.

Extended Stay America is a reputable, well run company. They have zero connections with Intown Suites.
