Afternoon everyone,

It's been a very busy few weeks with the district. So much so I over did and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. Keep forgetting I am not 20 anymore. Other than that, doing well with the new job, hit the ground running. Worked 27 days straight to get the information as close to being ready was we could for the start of school here.

It's starting to slow down and now maybe I can come up for a bit of air. Or beach. Explored a bit yesterday to see the Richmond Hill area. More weekends branching out coming.

Hubby is still doing interviews. Sigh. He's bored out of his mind. Not even Walmart rehired him. He's still trying,I got to give him that. Two more interviews this week. Fingers crossed!

So glad to hear from you. Sorry you overdid. I think you are now with the school bus system? It seemed to go better this year, so I blame you. Haha.
You and hubby should just go with the flow. It will all buff out.

Sorry you've been laid up. As I mentioned somewhere else, this was the first year in my memory that the start of school was dominated by news stories about problems with the bus routes. I give you all the credit!

Fingers crossed. Maybe you should re-post his experience so we can brainstorm!

If he has tradesmen's skills I can interview him. I have a couple of vacant spots.

Well I got thrown under that proverbial bus today. Maybe I'll be looking shortly again too.

He was a ready mix concrete dispatcher for 21 years-handled sales, designed mixes, and scale house duties. He did a 4 year part time job filling oxygen tanks. Owned our own vent dryer/cleaning business-he also did central a/c cleanings(not many in NY) from 09-17. He worked Wally World all last year. He's got a construction background-after the service he did work for a GC doing tiewalls, replacing windows, etc. He designed and we built our garage-27 x25 with two steel beams to give the upstairs floor a good support as it was our family room. Designed and built our deck 12x24, built a 10x12 shed. He did handyman stuff and landscaping for the neighborhood word got around about his abilities.

So that's it in a nutshell.

Issues with some of the things I took over. But they were there when I started the job. Yet, I am the one getting written up for it. First time in 30 years I've ever been written up. So not happy about it.

Maybe it will be ok. Fingers crossed.
I feel like you have some strikes against you, since aren't from here, but I hope not.
