Yes, that’s what I was talking about. The boundaries at that end of Pooler are confusing.

The area known as the Highlands, mostly North of Jimmy Deloach along Benton Blvd, has always been in Savannah. Savannah comes down Benton to include all the apartments to Cheddars. Cheddars is the first Pooler City address. They all had a Pooler mailing address since that is where there mail was being processed from.

And, the USPS sorted this out in 2014 by reassigning the Highlands to a 'Savannah, GA 31407" address.

So to GA Survivor's point, this was resolved years ago and Pooler residents have never been subjected to City of Savannah fees.

The only exception I know if is along Dean Forest Road where business in the City of Pooler limits (on the west side of the road) are served by City of Savannah water/sewer. Businesses on the east side of Dean Forest are concurrently in Garden City's limits. Dean Forest road itself is in the City of Savannah. This has to do with services being extended from the City of Savannah to serve the mega-site, which was later annexed into the City of Pooler.

Exactly! Dean Forest Road is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. The Garden City side doesn't even have water, I remember the big fire they had last year and had the road shut down because there weren't any fire hydrants on that side.
