Ryan is teasing, but no teasing is needed. Recall that several (non-regular) Savannah Forum posters proposed a "Bridge to Nowhere" to connect Truman Pkway with the S.C. swamps. They completely forgot its total cost (prohibitive), funding (100% non-existent), environmental impact (extreme), disturbance to ships (considerable), increase in Abercorn truck traffic (toxic), plus the priority in Washington, Atlanta, and Columbia of linking President St. with Bluffton (ZERO).
