Catholic schools in Savannah
My husband & I are planning to move to the Savannah area. We have 2 children, 1 high school age daugher and a son in elementary school. They currently attend Catholic schools in NH. We have been told Richmond Hills, Pooler are communities to look into, and we want to keep our kids in Catholic schools. Are there schools in the area, and does anyone know how good they are. I have been told that schools in the south do not provide the same level of education as the northeast, but is that true? We do not want to move if it means giving my kids less of an education.

The daughter would go to High School at ST. Vincents Academy. The boy's high school would be Benedictine. Both have excellent reputations.
There are several Catholic elementary schools in the Savannah area. I don't know how they rank, but I am assuming that you would want to send him to the one that is most convenient. Look at the one on Wilmington Island. It is the newest (I think)

St. James seems to be the most popular in our neighborhood.
In case you don't know St. Vincent is an all girls school and Benedictine is an all boy military Catholic school. I've only heard good things about both.

It would probably be up to you to compare the data. Maybe you should contact the schools yourself and find out how the test scores and other specifics compare.

Referencing the one on Wilmington and the one on Tybee (mentioned above)...those areas are not near the area where you are thinking of living (Pooler or Richmond Hill). Compare where you want to live to the travel time and think "rush hour" when looking at the locations of all of the schools.
