moving to savannah (low crime, neighborhood, schools)

im thinking of moving to savannah soon i wanted to know how the area is like. for example are their jobs, the cost of living, and is it a nice quiet area to live with family.

There have been a half dozen different threads running in the past month regarding Savannah. Run through those, then get back with us. Use the search tab at the top of the screen, leave it on threads, and type in "Savannah".

I do have something new to add to all the prior discussions, I just dug out the Savannah Neighborhood Crime Statistics from the the police dept. website. http://www.savannahpd.org/cityweb/spd.nsf
Scroll down about half way and the link to the report is on the left hand side of the page.

There used to be an even more specific map which showed exactly which crime occurred where, but this is still a very useful tool to have.

Hello, Effingham county is close to Savannah and has great schools and low crime. Hope this helps.
