Yeah, the Mansion is pretty much a trip. Haven't eaten there but have had drinks both upstairs and in the restaurant. It's a lot of fun.

haha. I saw Mimi's mentioned on here... that place IMO is very greasy. I'd choose Vinnie Van Go-Go's or Basil's on Wilmington Island hands down over Mimi's. The other place, 1760, is really 1790, and from what I've heard from my guests (at the hotel I work at), its a nice setup but the food isn't worth the price.

Hello!!!! I am not from Savannah, someday hoping to visit though myself. Anyhoo....don't know if you ever watch the food network channel. I def do!!! And I am a huge fan of Paula Deen, and I believe I've heard thru several people that she has an amazing restaurant in Savannah. She's had no formal training, but her southern cooking looks to die for and most critics have agreed!!! Enjoy!!

As was said in a few previous posts, avoid this restaurant if you want some true quality food! Lady & Son's IMO is for those diehard Paula fans aka people who don't know any better! haha
