There used to be a seafood place on one of the barrier Islands called Palmers.
Does anyone know if its still there

Palmers used to be on Wilmington Island. I'm not sure if it's still there. Maybe it has another name?

I'll ask around.
But I don't remember passing, or drinking in, any place called Palmers.
I'll have an answer for you later in the day.
Or if somebuddy can tell me roughly where it is/was, I can pretty much tell you what's there now. |

It's been a long time since I went there. Google says it was at 80 Wilmington Island Rd. Don't think it's still there.

Yes Al, I could view the map, wow, does that bring back some memories. I lived in Savannah when
I first got out of Nursing School, worked at Memorial. I graduated in 1986 and I see It is a regular
on one of the programs where they show life at a hospital. This dining thread brought lots of different ummy places to mind. Like Studebakers Spankys The Crystal Palaces, Palmers to name
a few. (dont want to be acused of drifting off the thread :>) I left in 89, and went back to Montana, I live in VA now, thinking about making a visit.
