Default Looking for information on the history of a house in Thunderbolt

My brother bought a house in Thunderbolt and I would like to trace the history of the house as it is approx. 110 years old. It is located on Mechanics Avenue near the intersection of Bonaventure Street. Where I can locate the history of this house??

Another suggestion;

The Main Library on Bull Street has City Directories etc dating far back. They may have one with that house giving the owners name, etc. You would need to do a little detective work as I doubt that they had the same, if any, numbering system. You need to go to the Geneology section and ask what they might have.

The Chatham County Courthouse is my second suggestion. It's not a task well-suited for a beginner, though you can still go there and look up all of the past owners of the property. They're not always that helpful there and usually try to discourage idle browsing.
