Where is a good place to eat breakfast in the Historic District?

There are two places within easy walking distance of your condo: Express Cafe, which is probably right behind your place, on Barnard and Congress St. Lane; and Panera Bread at Bull and Broughton. There's also Clary's on Jones at Abercorn, Firefly Cafe at Habersham and Harris, and J. Christopher on Liberty near Abercorn.

There are probably others that I can't think of, right off.

I've also heard that Huey's and Dockside on River Street also have good breakfasts. I'm guessing that's a week's worth of breakfast.

I was going to throw out Clary's but ellie already did. They are a classic diner-style restaurant with character and a LOT of good food for only a little money. That's my kind of place! They have a huge variety too.

Clary's sounds like a great place.

It is...I was jumping in to sing Clary's praises as well, but the locals beat me to it.

If you are ever in Savannah on a Sunday, go to Soho South Cafe for Brunch. It is nothing less than incredible. Downtown on Liberty St.

Default Ditto SOHO South & Clary's

Personally I like Clary's. If you are into traditional diner-type places this one can't be beat. I'm just sorry they aren't open for dinner as in years past.
