As far as meat markets go - The Fresh Market has a nice variety.

All of my life except for about 4 years of it, tyvm. I've just haven't been to a meat market in years & years, and I basically have forgotten who the players were.

True, but I was hoping for someone local, not a chain grocer. Any other ideas?

Is there a decent Creole/Cajun restaurant in town?
You might wanna ask them where they get their supplies?
Or maybe you could just make small purchases from the restaurant itself?
Just sayin', is all.

Not really, which is part of the problem I suppose. I kinda attempted to get the heart of that issue here:

Cajun/Creole food/ingredients in Savannah?


Plus, most all restaurants purchase meat from wholesalers (not open to the public).

Mebbe they could order just a tad bit more then they actually need?
