Default Looking for nice neighborhood to live in savannah

Hi,

We will be relocated in savannah for my husband work. I have to young kids and I am looking for a nice and safe neighborhood. I don't know if there's nice place near the beach? If somebody have any idea...

Ordinarily I would suggest that you use the search option at the top of the page to find posts about your subject. Many have asked and many have provided excellent answers. But "search" doesn't appear to be working.

You'll need to scroll through the past topics manually in order to read them. It's easy.

A lot will depend on your idea of what is "near" the beach. If you don't want to live on Tybee Island, then the nearest places would be found on Wilmington Island, Whitemarsh and other Island areas as you have to drive through them to get to the beach.

Just about anywhere within the Savannah Area is less than a 30 minute drive to the beach. Most places are much less.

There are a lot of "nice and safe" areas in Savannah with good schools. You need to come look around to see what would be the most suitable for you. Some people want big lawns, (think mowing!) and others want close neighbors. No trees, or lots of trees. Close to supermarkets or not. There are so many varibles that's it is difficult to suggest anywhere.
