Question Relocating to Savannah w/ Pets... HELP!

My husband and I are wanting to move to Savannah, GA. We currently live in Corpus Christi, TX. We do not have a dog limit here. We own 2 1/2 acres of land. We have 6 dogs. I just called and the limit in Savannah is 3 dogs. If you have 4 or more you have to either live 100ft away from your neighbor or get permission from your neighbors.

This is my question.... Is it easy to find houses that are 100ft apart? What places should we be looking for that kind of space? My husband and I would like to live in a newer house. One that is only a few years old at the most.

Thanks for the help!

I think that you will be able to find a place that will suit. Are these big yard dogs or small indoor types? A dog that barks all night does tend to get complaints from the neighbors.

They are all sizes and they are kennel trained. So they are all inside when we are not home as well as night time when we sleep.

Talk to a real estate agent. You can probably find something in an unincorporated area and not have issues with your dogs.

I am not sure if this is going to help BUT I called the Animal control here in Wayne County it's about 2 hrs from Savannah and they said there is NO animal limit. And my house is actually on the market for sale. If you would like I know it's not in the savannah area but if you want to send me an IM I can give you the info on the area and house. HTH
