For anyone with the digital converter box and antenna, how many channels do you get and what type of channels in the Savannah area?

Hm that depends on alot of things actually. We live a bit south of Savannah, but we have an airport nearby and that is supposed to interfere with the signals. There are different strengths of antennas, too.
antennaweb.org lets you plug in your zip code and tells you what channels you theoretically should pick up.

Hey there I get 13 channels 1 analog others all digital. I have antenna only and live in Thunderbolt area. I got a converter box and it did not increase the number of channels I could receive contrary to what the rep at Best Buy said. I have to fiddle with the antenna for different channels but it beats paying.

I thought the same thing with my purchase. Talked into it at Walmarts. After 6 months of adjusting the antenna and having frozen screen with no sound JUST when they are announcing if the defendant is guilty or not....I looked at buying a cable subscription.

I was told about the $9.99/month for basic which was going to be about 17(?) channels. They have a "filter" on the system that if removed you will get 70 channels for the $9.99.

I now have 70 channels......don't ask how. Check with some of your tech friends. Generally you'll find 10 year kids that can help you. lol
