We recently relocated to NC to be closer to family, but we lived in Pooler and just loved it. It was the safest I felt in Savannah and the community and schools were the best in the area. Pooler has a great mix of retired folks and younger families. I would highly recommend Pooler and Savannah Quarters to you.
We are in the process of selling our home and just reduced the price. Here is the link if you want to check it out. Even if the house isn't for you, it will give you a good idea of our neighborhood and surrounding areas. This would have been the only place in Savannah I would have raised my kids.

) Isle of Hope is a fantastic place to raise kids. It is extremely safe and far enough removed from the city but close enough you don't have to drive 30 minutes to get anywhere (I personally think 10 minutes to everything is great). Mayfair is another neighborhood that people love. My numero uno would be Isle of Hope!
