Hi there - we're looking at relocating to Savannah next summer, and we're thinking ahead to colleges.

Other then SCAD, what significant colleges are there within a few hundred miles of Savannah?

Thanks,

Rick

A few hundred miles?!?! Plenty. 250 miles would encompass most of the major colleges in Georgia and South Carolina and include many in the state of Florida and some in NC.

Nutbeem, we are in the same boat as you. We may be moving to Savannah too, problem is we have a junior in high school and not too sure if it would be the right thing to do....my main concern would be what high school to choose as we also have a child who will be starting high school next year.

As for your question, there are many good schools in the area such University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Emory University and Mercer to mention a few in Georgia. In South Carolina there is Clemson and USC, I am sure there are many more in SC and Florida also has a lot to offer as Ellie mentioned.

Good luck to you>
