Here are a few of mine. All were taken in the City Market area of Savannah's Historic District.

These are of one area and they aren't very good, but as soon as I get around to it, I'll take some better ones and post them!

WOW Savannah was hustling, & bustling, then I went in mid October the city seem quiet.
When was this?
I think you took some grat shots.
I know night shots are very tricky. You have to adjust aperature speed, camera speed.
That is all greek to me
Thanks for adding

Thank you for the compliment!

Funny you say that. Those pictures were from my iPhone and they were taken on Halloween night (except for the one with the people standing around in the center of City Market, I believe that was the 5th of October after a 5K run). A saturday night AND full moon to boot. It was wicked crazy that night. Actually, too crowded for comfort but fun nonetheless.

Other than New Orleans Im sure Savannah would be one of the most awesome city to spend Halloween night at but IMO I would feel the good original stuff in N.O. that gave that city it's charm was flooded out with Katrina. I cant believe the first and only tour we took was in the bac of a Hertz what a hoot.
I absolutely loved Paula Deen's Sunday brunch and I like the Mellow Mushroom too.
I didnt know it was a chain but it was really good
Do you know what those things by the port are in pic #11 ?

Yeah, I'm sure New Orleans would be more fun for Halloween, but Savannah does have it's moments, that's for sure.
Paula Deen's restaurant is only good once, especially if you're a fan, otherwise there are PLENTY of other much much better local restaurants in Savannah. You'll have to try Vic's on the River or (a rival that beats Paula hands down) Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House, which is open for lunch only on weekdays.
For pizza, I STRONGLY recommend Vinnie Van Go-Go's in City Market.
As far as those things by the port, I'm not sure? I'm assuming it may be some kind of device for the bugs?

My family spent Christmas Day with my cousin and her husband and children in Pembroke, so a few of us drove a few miles to downtown Savannah to meander for a few moments:

I find the wide median thing to be something distinctly Georgian (also found in Augusta, Columbus, and Macon), but Savannah does it best
