I'm considering a position at Gulfstream and some of the rentals and rooms are within 4mi. I'm not familiar with Savannah or Garden City, so I was wondering if this is considered a safe area? Old Louisville, Bonnybridge, etc.

Much of Pooler's Godley Station area is quite new and seems to be inhabited by Gulfstream employees. People who are not from here seem to think it is close to Savannah. To me it seems dreadfully far away...but that's because I'm used to living in town.

Bloomingdale is just west of Poolaire and has a mix of housing, old and new. It's even farther from Savannah and Gulfstream. Don't know anything about Bonny Bridge. Old Louisville Rd. isn't really a good road to live on, it's fairly industrial, though there are a few run down homes and trailers along it. Port Wentworth also has a lot of new housing out across 1-95. There are problems with traffic backing up out there at rush morning and evening rush hour.

There is an old Garden City that is surrounded by industry and a new Garden City about 10 miles away that has not been built yet. Old Garden City has a residential area but the air quality is variable, to put it nicely. Parts are safe enough, as are parts of the old section of Port Wentworth, which has worse air quality issues. These two towns might also have questionable school systems, but they are more affordable than most areas, except maybe Bloomingdale which seems to still be relatively cheap to live in.

Bonnybridge is an older subdivision. Pooler is newer and growing. Pooler is very convenient to Gulf Stream.
