The probelm ius like recyclig i that just doig it is costly. We can do bwetter but not make much of a dent ocverall. But the prodcuts forn crude which last I heard was like 19,000 plus items all ahve to be repalced when crude runs out. That is when the real crunch will come and not just from fuel for vehicles etc.One of the real problems isn't us.bu the frowth in energy consumed by emerging economies really.

I agree. India and China are growing at an amazing rate when it comes to oil use.

So all the jokes about mining landfills might come true?

Those two are the most populated 2 countries in the world.
They were too broke or culturally not interested in cars, they were riding their bicycles and chilling.

Auto manufacturers saw that as a huge untapped consumer source waiting to be 'sold' on the benefits of owning a vehicle....with millions of more car owners of course everything from air pollution to oil shortage became even more concerning but that is OK as long as you know who is making more $$.

What bugged me about that article was, Pacific Ocean was getting polluted which means Asians and West Coast Americans are the problem....yikes!
So, Atlantic Ocean is fine? Really?
