Happened while Jimi Heselden was inspecting his estate in the U.K.

Heselden was known for his generous philanthropy: he had donated over 23 million GBP to charitable causes over his lifetime.
According to the BBC, Heselden "worked as a miner before losing his job in a wave of redundancies in the 1980s. His engineering business went from strength-to-strength and he had a fortune reported to be [166 million GBP], making him one of the top 400 richest people in the UK."

Honda has a machine that looks a lot better to me than the Segway. More portable, and you can sit down on it.

Maybe a bit odd considering he was reported to be an experienced rider. Heard there was an eye-witness but have seen little if any of the details other than it was a 30 ft cliff and a wooded area. I also heard a news report on the radio that he had backed up to let another hiker by but saw no confirmation of that in any on-line story I could find. Some of the stories say he was testing a prototype developed for "off-road" use. Although police say that foul play is not suspected, I do wonder if he had a butler, if so...

Yes, I do too. I am sure there are many deaths which are not natural but go undetected because either the police think there is little reason to suspect foul play or because there is a history of previous health conditions.

Whenever I see a plane crash in the news these days I wonder which important person was a passenger. It is a well known method to get rid of groups of politicians or heads of organisation etc. If a plane crashes and burns much of the evidence is destroyed and only the black box would show any reason for the plane "failure".

Also, most people over 50/60 have something wrong with them and people/police naturally put 2 and 2 together (body, cliff, Segway) and say that "he drove over the cliff". There must be an element of the police not wanting another unresolved statistic on their books and if there is no obvious evidence to the contrary, why should they suspect - just because he was rich and possibly influential is not grounds for suspicion of foul play.

Those people who believe that the world is being run by a large underground secret organisation are in the minority and it becomes difficult and unjustified to investigate every suspicious thing that happens.

We just have to watch and note the patterns - and be called paranoid!
