This is kind of cool as it's the latest in exoskeleton suit technology showcased at the 2011 CES Expo at Las Vegas last week by a japanese company called Cyberdyne.. While they'll need more modification etc. over the coming years however it may be useful for those who are disabled or paralysed to walk again someday.

Anyone else find it funny that the companies name is "Cyberdyne"? That was the name of the company in the Terminator films that created Skynet and all the Terminator robots.

I think this will be good stop gap products eventually for those who are disabled. But to be honest I think the the really future of improving human performance (and healing from injury) will be with the use of nano tech used internally in the human (cyborg) body.
