Man wouldn't have had time to even invent much besides better spears for killing animals. Practically every invention we use daily owes its existence to agriculture.

No. I was not mentioning your example about agriculture or Stumbler's post in particular. I thought those were great posts.
When I said that, I was referring to the vast majority of the other posts where other people did not seem to take this thread seriously based on how they responded.

Who knew?
I really don't think that Yelp is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Are you serious?
I was the one that created this thread and mentioned a lot of great examples for inventions.
Yet, you decide to focus on the only one exception where you didn't seem to agree with me and then say my thread and original post wasn't serious enough? It still seems like you would agree with 10 or 11 out of 12 inventions I mentioned.
Welll, I think yelp.com is a great invention since it where people write reviews about places like restaurants, cafes, museums, supermarkets, and many other places like that.
Also, I think sliced bread is not that great of an invention. Sliced bread is ok, thats it.

Sanitation and antiseptic discovery
Harnessing of electricity for personal use and empowerment
The Computer

Robotic Surgery is here now and will be huge in the future.
The internal combustion engine
Levers and fulcrums, pulleys, gears, and other means of moving the universe through mechanical advantage

Regarding:
"...
-Ipod
-Google.com
-City-data.com (great as it is)
-Facebook.com
-Yelp.com
-Listography.com(Yes you can include certain websites and things like that)"
Not in the same league.
And it is extremely difficult to take Yelp seriously at all within the context of the question.
Extremely.
Impossible, even.

Religion. Look how easy it is for a few to influence and control the actions/ideas/beliefs of so many others with religion.

Yes. You still agreed with 6 out of 12 of the inventions I mentioned, so you still agreed with many of them.
You agreed with these inventions that I mentioned:
-Computers
-Airplanes
-Cars/Automobiles
-Electricity
-Cell phones and phones in general
-Internet(technically separate invention from Computers)
Wow. And you even copied some things I said and mentioned the computer, and electricity also which is what I mentioned first.
And plus, I created this thread. Isn't this an awesome thread subject?
So yeah, please dont come into a thread and say rude and sarcastic things to someone that created the thread such as what you did in your first post.
