My favorites are Physics......including Cosmology; as well as the Earth Sciences mainly Geography and Demographics.

So what are your favorite Science subjects.....inquiring minds want to know? .
I have degrees in Architecture and Computer Science, but I also really enjoy astrophysics, and paleontology.

Military Science should be called Military Art. There is very little scientific about it...and this is from someone who spent 20+ years in the Army and taught Military Science in ROTC.

There are applications of well-known principles, but almost nothing is quantifiable (with the exception of logistics) and it really comes down to Commander's gut call based on experience-heuristics, hunches, and 'great man' theories of leadership.

Of all the sciences, physics is the most mind-blowing to me.

It's also the parent of every other science.

Math might be in there? Maybe math can be the mother and physics the father...

That's how one of my Geology profs explained it to me (written from the perspective of Geology) Math<Physics<Chemistry<Biology<Geology. Note that < is not denoting "greater than" but just what is built upon what, or how each successive field is inclusive of the previous field.

or written this way

Geology
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Math

There are egos and different perspectives involved; so everyone will never agree exactly on every field.

The thread's intent is not to argue merits of each field but which scientific branch/field you enjoy the most.

What are you going on about? Who is arguing merits? And what are these egos you are going on about? Did you not understand my point? No you didn't. I even included a note to make sure one didn't conclude what you went ahead and did. My comments are not really anything to deny and is so obvious if you understood. Simply, there are sciences which are built upon, rely upon, and are inclusive of other sciences, confirming BigCityDreamer's and GeorgiaTransplant's posts. This is not about merits or egos.
