The answer to all of these ambiguous equations is that you're never going to get agreement on the result unless you also specify your operator priorities.

That's it.

The reason why these expressions are ambiguous is because not enough people have good command of mathematical rules. If everyone knew math well, then it wouldn't be ambiguous.

Ambiguous by lack of understanding, not by lack of definition.
