Wow the old skunk works "secret" plane that flew mach 3.2 or in MPH was something like 2,200+ mph and that was the long retired but still pretty awsome SR-71 and Pratt & Whitney J58 Ramjet was amazing and the faster it and higher it went the more efficent it became. I think it used JP-7 fuel also I have to say the cold war produced some amazing "top secret" plnaes such as the U2 spyplane , the SR-71, the F-117 Nighhawk and the only one still used today the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber.

I remember the F-117 being called a UFO in the mid 80's till they de-classifed it and took it to airshows and it was easy to see why people thought it was a UFO compared to the F-18 and F-15.

but does it even exist and if it does no one has 100% proof that it in fact is real and if it does turn out to be real thenno one knows the performance, range and what payloads it is able to carry. since it could be a fast interceptor fighter or bomber or be a way to get US special forces on the ground anywhere in the world in a very short amount of time to carry out covert ops or rescue missions is hostile countries and be albe to get in and get out very fast.

I think that the government has some neat planes, like stealth blimps. But other than that. Nothing too cool.

the only one that is real for sure is the X-47B it is ready for production
