I want to see what others say? I hear that it's the US, but the US was only ingenious to bring technology to the market in a free market system.

Germany and the U.S. would probably tie. In the 1930s, it was a powerhouse of invention, but overall the U.S. just kept turning out stuff like transistors.

And keep in mind that many of the scientists which made Germany so great in the 1930's moved to the United States later on, so in some cases the tech came from the same people...
