Default What's an halogroup? And what's yours?

I am interested in knowing what my halogroup is...does that mean that by doing the test i will find my ancestry or where my ancestors came from?
Has any of you ever done the test? If so what is your halogroup?

You mean Haplogroup. Google that and you'll get lots of info.

Then what ?

Haven't had testing done, but from a sampling of prices, they can run anywhere from about $120 up to $320 (shipping is extra), if you're interested in doing it on your own and not part of a research project. Prices mentioned above can be found here:
