Personally I would think instead of making more forums you should consider combining/renaming.
Instead of making TABLETS its own category which I bet you will see very little traffic as it is, why not combine it with COMPUTERS?

COMPUTER & TABLETS makes a LOT of sense.
Maybe:
CELLPHONES & CONSUMER ELECTRONICS

Also I think SPACE should be renamed as someone mentioned to ASTRONOMY.

I agree. The least work intensive fix is easy as the sub forums are already in place. Add one line break after the forum title; rewrite titles, and move one thread. Done. It should not take more than one hour for one person to make a cut and paste change. But I could be wrong as I never worked with C-D line code.

I disagree. Tablets do need a thread because of [1] the huge popularity and [2] it is projected to replace the personal desktop computer. I hope not.

Not tomorrow, maybe, but tablets are already outselling desktops. I'm curious to see how long any tablet (not a book reader) is in service before it comes a doorstop? Most desktops are easy enough to repair. Not so the tablet.

If we keep the topic going maybe Admin will agree to correct the forum fragmentation. Space has no place in technology; it is not electronics.

Well we are one week into the "changes" and I'm officially on the side of it being a screwed up mess. I keep finding threads moved to other forums that don't fit.

We are going to see the demise of posting in this forum. Frustration will set in and those who post some of the best threads we read are going to stop.

Like I said earlier: don't Facebook us. You want to build a rabid fan base? Makes us feel like we are really part of the community by incorporating our thoughts and ideas into future modifications made.
Give us a little credit that we might know what would work since, y'know, we hang out here every day.

That's how I would run C-D Forums anyway.
