...Unnoticed until then, Casillo walked into the airport dripping wet and wearing his bright yellow life jacket.

When he was eventually spotted by a Delta employee, police charged Casillo with criminal trespassing.

"It's outrageous," Casale said. "Why in 2012 do we not have a security system throughout our airports?"
This is not the first time an airport's security systems failed...

There is something wrong with this picture, IMO.

No one in the tower or in a taxiing aircraft saw him crossing active runways?

I hope they do not charge the poor guy, he was only showing us we wasted $100,000,000.

It didn't even seem like he was deliberately or otherwise "testing" the security system, he was instead trying to get help because he had nowhere else to go. To charge him with criminal trespassing when he was only trying to get help is the real outrage.

Perhaps US needs to stop being controlled by Israel and ***** every country off in that region and there will not be a need for all these extreme (and useless) security measures? No instead, every year they do something else to create more and potentially bigger threats. What a sad world we live in.

"We have called for an expedited review of the incident and a complete investigation to determine how Raytheon's perimeter intrusion detection system-which exceeds federal requirements-could be improved. Our goal is to keep the region's airports safe and secure at all times," the Port Authority said in a statement.

Isn't Raytheon the company name in a movie where all their AI fighter jets crashed or did stupid things? What the heck was that movie?

Hmmmmm.....

How do you cross two runways and still walk in "dripping wet"?

Not saying he didn't do it, but I see a great prank. You and a friend drop a jet-ski off, then pack a suitcase with a life jacket, go in the terminal to a bathroom, change to swim trunks and the life jacket, stick your head in a toilet and flush, then come out and claim you walked across the airport tarmac.

That's what I think too.

By charging this guy with a crime they are just embarrassing themselves even more, IMO.
