Since the universe is supposed to be infinite .. have they(Big Bang Theorists) also explained where that 'central' point would be?

Think of a balloon. The universe is the surface. There is a center but that center isn't contained in the universe. It's like that but in more dimensions.

Why can't we determine exactly where that central point is?

Why was that central point THERE, and not somewhere else? Was there a "somewhere else", where it could have been, instead of where it was?

It's possible there could be many "centers" because some believe there could be many universes.

When we talk about the Big Bang, we can be referring to the creation of either of 2 things:

1. All the planets, stars, nebulae, etc. and all of the empty space beyond up unto the outer "skin" of the universe, or
2. Just all the planets, stars, nebulae, etc.

I prefer the 2nd choice. The empty universe (without the heavenly bodies) always existed and is infinite. The Big Bang filled that empty universe with heavenly bodies. So there is really no center of the universe in the 2nd definition as there is in the 1st.

And if you notice from my first reply, I didn't mention "universe", just "things".

The stars have an ending and an end unless they are attracted to a star or black hole. Other stars can just explode eventually just like our sun will. Other stars and other bodies floating around just get cold, eventually.

There are lots of gasses out there, though they are more often found in galaxies than floating through space.

Likewise, there are a lot of particles, and so forth out there, too long to list...
