Be aware that some youtube content is not available to tablets. Personally, I LOATHE trying to type on a touch screen. They are about the only electronic device where people consider a 95% success rate good. Even for touch applications, there are times you sometimes have to re-touch.

I have a laptop (Lenovo Ideapad, Win7) that I got last fall. Then later in the winter I decided I wanted a tablet and ended up getting a Nexus 7. I like and use both a lot. I also have an older Dell desktop set up (on it now).

The tablet is good to turn on quick in the morning to make a quick check of my email. It's also good for lounging on the couch and web surfing. I put the Kindle app on it and have downloaded over 100 free ebooks (many new books are free at some point for a day or two at a time). I got a $10 USB keyboard case from amazon and it turns the tablet into a mini laptop, much better to type on then the keys on the screen.

The tablet is nice to travel with; in my bike bag or backpack.
