I think there is something different about me. I have never felt this way about roller coasters. There's no fear or trepidation, only expectation! For me, riding a coaster is an incredibly joyful, almost euphoric experience, better than any drug I've ever done, and I've done plenty. There's an occasional adrenaline rush, but it's from the expectation of an almost heroin-like high, not the expectation of something dangerous happening.

Neat article. Though the Washington Post incorrectly stated the Griffon at BGW having 6 inversions in #5 My Heart is Pounding. The Griffon does have a 90-degree drop but only 2 inversions (Immelmann loops)...Alpengeist is the coaster there with 6 inversions. Personally I like Apollo's Chariot the best with the freedom of just the fat lap restraint.
