So, is what you really mean is that software programs developed by spy agencies may be able to predict the future? Not the actual spy persons making the prediction/s.

Cause if one of those spies is as good at his job as Michael Mann was at his....

Every day science is bringing us ever closer to the world of Minority Report. Sadly, given the revelation coming to light nearly every week about the NSA I fear that this tech will be used to neutralize future activist and dissidents rather than criminals or terrorists.

The mere definition of terrorist is also changing, there is a regular inflation. Today any activist can be labeled a potential terrorist. Some Greenpeace activists have already found out that their snail mails and parcels are being monitored.

I think we need unpredictability, random, etc., else life will become terribly boring.
