The government has done absolutely nothing inspirational (IMO) in terms of space travel itself since going to the Moon. So I have no interest in reading a 300 page report about how we can't do something.

The visionaries (e.g. Elon Musk) may succeed or fail in colonizing Mars, but personally, I want them to try.

Its no ones fault. We just do not have the technology to do that yet.
