Artificial intelligence is the game changer and what future robots/computers think as their reason for existence may become different from what humans want. I dont think robots/technology will actively kill off the human race but over time will render the human species irrelevant.

In the future, most of the jobs will be done by robots many low skilled workers will be displaced.
While this is likely true now, there's the real possibility it wont be true in the near future.
