Scientists did not reach the inner core of Earth , they didn't drill, so why are they believing what they are saying?

BBC News - Heart of Earth's inner core revealed
It was determined by examining seismic wave data (echoes or vibrations) generated by earthquakes that bounce around inside and through the planet. The finding indicates that the inner core of the planet is made up of two parts: an inner inner core and an outer inner core. Crystals of the former (deepest) line up in an east-west direction, which crystals of the latter line up in a north to south direction. In other words, it has to do with looking at how the signatures or magnetic properties differ. Generally, the thinking is that the inner core should be unified in its magnetic alignment. But since the core appears to be in two parts with different magnetic alignments, it suggests that something significant happened to cause such a difference very early in the formation of the planet. Nothing is said as to what may have happened, but one possibility might be a collision big enough to cause the formation of the Moon? There could be other possibilities as well.

The conclusion of the article says that this model needs additional testing in other ways to see if the same conclusions can be determined.

Last time I checked, no one has made it to the sun to report what goes on there either. Until they do, they can't shake my belief that giant bunny rabbits made out of red peppers are the cause of the heat from it.

I also still question this idea of the Earth hanging out there attached to nothing, in the vacuum, and not falling

They have photobrushed out the string in all the space pictures.

Well, it is falling. Around the sun. Which is also falling. Around the galaxy which is also falling. Around a universe ... Ponder on that a while.

Many things in science are done through proxy measurements. For example you can never observe a black hole because even light cannot escape it, there is nothing to see. We know there is one at the center of the galaxy because we can observe it's affects on other bodies. There is numerous stars orbiting it that accelerate to millions of miles per hour as their orbits come in proximity, the math says the only thing that can cause this is a black hole.

Oh dear.

You think anyone has ever seen an electron? Yet there are wires all through your house along which electrons vibrate so that you can use your computer as something besides a doorstop.

Somewhere near you, there is a library full of books on what scientists do and how they do it. Maybe it's time you read one.
