Survival would only be a problem in a pure capitalism, jambo, if almost all unpleasant work was done by machines. Spread the wealth around as in a Star Trek -like system, and most humans might be living in an earthly paradise ....... as long as the computer overlords want that for humans.

We just have to merge with the tech and become transhuman to keep up.
