My nephew is a second-year mechanical engineering student, and also an Apple-oriented computer nerd. His birthday is coming up, and his retired, barely computer-literate uncle needs some suggestions for a book or other form of media that he would appreciate. He is not without humor, and of course is deeply into gaming and fantasy graphics.
Scond year mechanical engineering student? How about a gift card to a local bar or restaurant? I would imagine his tuition fees, etc are eating up his budget.
The problem with a book or game is not knowing what he already has.
You could also get him a gift card at some place like Gamestop. We buy most of our games there.
Just ask your nephew for a couple of options (Apple versus PC, gift cards, and so on). He can probably tell you what laptops are being used at the classes he attends.
