The evidence for rapid warming during the last 15-20 years is pretty overwhelming. There's no evidence for a corresponding increase in solar energy, but there's plenty of evidence for an increase in atmospheric CO2.

It's pretty hard to deny human caused global warming at this point, if one is willing to go wth evidence over ideology.

Whether we can do anything about it is a different matter. At present, we have no cost-effective replacement for fossil fuels other than nuclear fission. Wind and solar aren't going to do it, as the Germans are finding out.
