How can I burn my CD collection to play in my car? (iTunes, cable)

I have so many and would love to hear them in my car. I noticed when I burned before that warped CDs no longer had the warps on the burned copy. How did that happen?
Get iTunes or a similar computer app. Rip your cds to your computer.
Get a portable digital music player. Or get a smart phone, which will come with the capability to play music.
Following the instructions, copy/sync your music files from your computer to your portable music player/smart phone.
Almost all car radios have a headphone jack, and all portable music players have a headphone jack. Hook up these two jacks with the appropriate cable. Or you can use bluetooth if your car stereo has bluetooth (just about all music players and smart phones come with bluetooth).
If your car stereo doesn't have a headphone jack or bluetooth, you can
1) get a new car stereo or
2) buy a portable bluetooth speaker for your car.
If you don't want to do all that, just get a car stereo that has the ability to play cds. You can still find them.
If you have a USB port in your car, you can put your music on a flash drive and most recent systems can play off the drive. If your car doesn't have a CD player, than it probably won't have a USB port.

I will have to look, our car does not have a cd player, I have free sirrius for a year, but after that ends I will need a music thing, will mp3 players work? ( I don't have one, just heard about them. I know I am clueless.

Yes, mp3 players are basically the same thing as portable digital music players. But most portable digital music players can handle more file formats than mp3. BTW, this is one of the reasons why many people, including me, prefer to rip our own cds. When you download music, you are downloading mp3 files, it's the most common file format, by far. But it's not the one that translates the original music with the greatest fidelity.

The music on the CD is is bunch of 1's and 0's, it will either perfectly play what is on the CD or it doesn't. Anything that would cause the CD player to not read right would result in skips, missing music etc. It would not alter the sound.
When you rip a CD this is usually to a compressed format which is lower quality than what is on the original CD, that can alter the sound or the original recording but only slightly.
This can be a very time consuming process. Rip to WMA lossless, this is not compressed and will not cause any loss in quality. You these as sources, if you need MP3's for example you can create copies as MP3 using a batch converter. If in the future there is some other format you can always go back to your WMA lossless files and make copies for that.

I purchased a Dodge Ram pickup new in 2016. It does not have a cd player, but it has two usb ports. I use a 32gig flash drive to play my music in the truck when I get tired of local radio or Sirius. I've been told it won't read anything bigger than a 32gig, but I've yet to try it.

Most newer cars have a USB port and an Aux in port, and many are doing away with CD players. Example, Kia Soul since 2014 does not have a CD player but does have USB and Aux In.

The sound environment of a car does not merit any particular effort to bring in high quality sound. Do not be concerned unless the media will also be played in a well designed studio environment. Too much background noise in a car.
A CD is not a good portable sound medium. Better you should create a file on a external hard drive system and copy that to a USB chip.
My reason: two years ago on the way back out to my car after the race at Charlotte NC I found a lost, thick folder of CDs that someone had put together from records and other sources of music of several genres. That was a lot of effort to put into a stack of disks that ended up in the dirt after a long weekend trip.
Sure hope they had a backup.

Are you saying that you burned copies of published CDs that had eventually mechanically warped and the copies onto new, blank CDs did not have the warps? And you were surprised?? Or disappointed???
Or did the process of copying your existing CDs cause the originals to flatten out?
