This is about five years later than I expected. It is troubling, it is 1984 and Brave New World, but we were warned that this was coming.
On a philosophical level, some people will have the critical thinking skills to discern what is real and what is not. Those who are unable to do so may bring others down with them. Someone who is an ethical geek immediately needs to make a viral video that is horribly realistic showing Trump and Putin riding a horse as Lady Godiva - not for any political motivation, but to show viscerally how dangerous taking video at face value now is.
